Broil Lobster Tails

Now if you have a lobster tail available or maybe you are just trying to learn some new tips- the following information will teach you how to broil and butterfly a Lobster tail.

First take the Lobster and face the tail end right and the top of the Tail left. Utilizing a sharp pare of scissors, cut the top of the Lobster tail by placing the bottom blade just under the top of the lobster shell. Make sure you do not cut the meat, but barely cutting the shell directly in half. Make sure you stop at the base of the tail.

With gentle fingers, pry the shell you have just cut apart, making sure you do not brake the back of the lobster shell. You are trying to release the Lobster Tail Meat away from the shell.

Once you have succeeded in removing the Lobster Tail Meat, gently press the Lobster Shell back together and place the Lobster meat on top of the spliced shell.

Now this is the tricky part, you will gently cut the Lobster Tail meat almost all the way through while cutting in the middle of the meat. When the Lobster Tail meat is done being cut , gently bend the meat over the shell.

You can drizzle some melted butter mixed with herbs if you want the Lobster meat to have a nice shine.

Approximately cooking time ranges from a two ounce lobster tail taking 12 minutes to cook and every lobster tail that weighs two ounces more will need to cook for 4 more minutes.
